Jim Hartshorne –Developer
Mr. Hartshorne has been developing properties on Vancouver Island, and other parts of British Columbia for 38 years. Through the course of his career, working closely with the various levels of government he has overseen the rezoning, planning and development of over 5000 residential units including single family, townhomes and condominiums; as well as numerous commercial developments. A couple of notable projects in Mr Hartshorne’s career are the 80 acre high-end, 400 unit single and multifamily subdivision Wedgewood Point at Ten Mile and most recently he has overseen the rezoning of the Westhills Green Community, a 517 acre environmentally sustainable development in Langford, BC which is zoned for 5950 units and close to 5 million square foot of mixed use and commercial space. Mr. Hartshorne is also presently the president of the WestShore Developers Association.
